Who we are

Still Waters run deep. So do you.

At Still Waters Counseling, we offer more than coping strategies—we offer a place for transformation.

Our work is rooted in the belief that healing happens when we turn toward, rather than away from, the parts of ourselves we’ve hidden. Using a unique blend of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)CBT, EMDR, and Jungian depth psychology, we help you explore your inner world with curiosity and care.

You might be carrying trauma, navigating anxiety or loss, or feeling cut off from your intuition and purpose. Therapy here is a place to rest, feel, and gently uncover the wisdom beneath your suffering.

You’ll learn to meet your experiences with presence, develop clarity around your values, and reconnect with the deeper truths of who you are.

This is soul work. And you don’t have to do it alone.

My name is Candace McLuskey, MAC, LPCC, MSJ, and I’m a clinician and owner of Still Waters Counseling. I have a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Regis University (Hons). For more than 20 years, I’ve worked in a professional capacity, in the last few years as a mental health clinician, where I have answered my life’s calling. In a past life, I worked as a journalist, and I continue to honor storytelling as integral to clients’ healing.
